Hardback, approx 9.5 x 6 inches. Half bound in polished dark calf leather to spine and corners and marbled paper to boards. Raised decorative banding to spine, with green spine label lettered in gilt. Blind embossed edge decoration to leather on boards. In very good condition. Modern re-binding with new endpapers. Small label mark to bottom of spine, a couple of very minor light marks to boards. Some minor darkening to plates, with some small marks to edges, a couple of very light handling marks, Else pages all very clean and tight throughout. 640pp + 8pp cat (Parkers Catalogue No. II, Dated Febuary 1841.) Illustrated with 8 B&W engraved plates (with tissue guards), and a Coloured engraved decorative title page, with decorative chapter letter-headpieces and tailpieces.
